Course Description – Lean Kanban in an Agile Organization (71 downloads) Business systems (manual or digital) do not always turn out the way we plan. Why? Systems, by their nature, are chaotic. The more elements (steps, departments, stakeholders, etc) you inject into a business system, the more chaotic. Research has shown that organizations that concentrate on efficient flow instead of keeping people busy not only achieve faster and better results, but also improve customer satisfaction.

Implementation of visual management using Lean and Kanban concepts can help manage work flow and tame the chaos. This course provides the framework and techniques to help students analyze the business situation and determine how to use visual management and Lean Kanban to manage flow. Interactive workshops and business games allow students to practice the techniques as they learn using examples from their actual work. Students can walk out of this course with a Kanban for their department or area!
